Do my guests have to download an app?+
Nope. The QR code opens a web page in their phone's browser — no app, no sign-up, no password. Most people are ordering within about twenty seconds of sitting down.
Will it work with the till I already have?+
Servd connects to most major POS systems and standard kitchen printers. If yours isn't supported yet, it runs on its own from any tablet or phone.
How long does setup actually take?+
Only take minutes to sign up. Scan your menu as a photo or PDF we'll use it to populate your online Servd store's items.
What's the difference between the two Pro plans?+
Only the commitment. The 12-month plan is the cheaper monthly rate and includes your printed table codes; the rolling plan costs a little more and you can stop any month. Features are identical, and you can move from rolling to 12 months whenever you like.
Can I still process cash payments?+
Absolutely. Guests can send their order through Servd and choose to pay at the counter, or your team can take cash at the table exactly as they do now — the ticket still reaches the kitchen and the sale still lands in your reporting.
What if the venue wifi drops?+
Guests order over their own mobile data, so a venue outage rarely stops service. The kitchen app also queues tickets locally and syncs the moment you're back online.
